The champion yeast for strong ales, Fermentis SafAle BE-256 is an active dry brewer’s yeast recommended for fermenting a variety of Belgian type beers such as the abbey style known for its fruitiness and high alcohol content. It provides fruity flavours over different fermentation conditions, especially at higher densities and high fermentation temperatures.
It ferments very quickly and reveals strong fermentation aromas. To maintain the aromatic profile at the end of the fermentation, we recommend to crop this yeast as soon as possible after fermentation.

Sprinkle 11.5 g directly into 20-30 L wort.
